After growing up in Southern California, I spent my first year of university in the south of France, which marked the beginning of my love for traveling and living abroad.
I later finished my university studies in Washington, DC and moved to New York City for law school, spending one semester in Shanghai, China while in law school.
Now I am Lisbon, Portugal and focused on travel writing.
I am hope to encourage others to travel internationally by providing advice, tales of my own (mis)adventures and inspiration for the amazing destinations I love.
Although I do love to indulge on my travels, I aim to share experiences that are more focused on affordability than luxury. Everyone knows you can charter a jet to Europe and stay at George V in Paris if money is no object. I think it is far more impressive (and noble!) to voyage to the furthest corners of the Earth on a budget that is similar to your daily expenses at home.
